Once upon a time, a beautiful little fairy decided to come down from the heavens and gift the world with her light, and her joy. Her name was Sophie.
She came into my life long before I was ready to have her. I was quite young, barely out of college, with dreams of conquering the world. Little did I know that the world would be brought to me through this wee little girl.
My life is quite different from how I had initially imagined it. And that's okay because of her I have known Magic. I have known Laughter. And I have known Love that is boundless, unconditional, and fearless. (I have also known TIRED in a very intimate way, but the Love certainly trumps that!)
I also now know what it is to be Wife to her father, but that's a story that I'll tell you separately.
I have found my very best self because of her - and him.
It is an immense gift to be Sophie's mom. You'll be reading a lot about her in this blog, so you will soon see why :-)
